Join us at The Shala for this 4-week series on the vinyasa (flow) of Ashtanga Yoga.  Each week, the class will focus on one piece of the Ashtanga practice beginning with breathing and sun salutations, to standing postures, some seated postures and the closing sequence including backbends and inversions.  Teachers will modify and adjust postures to design a “just right” practice for each student.  Students new to yoga or new to the Ashtanga method are welcome.

Workshop education will include:

-A comfortable, accepting class environment in which to learn about a method of yoga that may not be so familiar to you!

-1 month of unlimited classes at The Shala 

Upon completion of this series, you will have a strong understanding of the Ashtanga method, a foundation to build upon, and will be comfortable joining Mysore or Beginner's Mysore.  Most students will feel comfortable joining an Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow class.

Early Bird Pricing until July 24 - $84 ($105) includes unlimited yoga for a month which is activated upon first day of use, you may decide to try other classes during the series or wait until you have completed the full series. Unlimited month is valid for 6 months after purchase.
