8 hours Yoga Alliance CE
Join Dr. Lori Brandt for this unique perspective of combining her expertise as a doctor of physical therapy and an orthopedic specialist with her love and passion of yoga. This workshop series is an applied approach of taking the fundamentals of anatomy and applying them to the function and movement patterns of the body. From these applied principles, she will directly integrate the anatomy to the practice of yoga. Specific asanas will be explored while examining the involved anatomy, movement patterns, and alignment.
This series is for both yoga students and yoga instructors that would like to improve their knowledge of the body and how that knowledge specifically applies to yoga and the practice. All levels of practitioners and teachers are welcome to join this series to gain more knowledge and insight on how to help your practice and/or students in terms of anatomy, alignment, and function of the body.
